Wedding Traveller: Ivan

[[John summed up my feelings pretty well. During the last 5 years that I've been photographing weddings, I have witnessed so many priceless moments and seen such happiness that I myself - never felt so happy before. 

My work is my biggest passion. And I have decided to take it to the next level by making this project happen - by finding more about how the most beautiful day in people's lifes looks around the world...or at least in South America for now. :) And nothing can be better than to do it with Janka. :)///John resumió mis sentimientos de una manera genial. Durante los últimos 5 años que he estado fotografiando bodas, he presenciado gran cantidad de momentos de valor incalculable y he visto tal felicidad que ni yo mismo me he sentido así antes.

Mi trabajo es mi mayor pasión. Y he decidido llevarlo al siguiente nivel poniendo en marcha este proyecto – descubriendo más sobre cómo es el día más bonito en la vida de las personas alrededor del mundo… Además, nada puede ser mejor que hacerlo al lado de Janka. :)///John veľmi dobre zhrnul moje pocity zo života. Vďaka posledným 5 rokom, ktoré som strávil fotografovaním svadieb, som zažil toľko neopakovateľných momentov a videl toľko štastia - a uvedomil si, že sám som vlastne nikdy necítil štastnejší.

Moja práca je mojou najväčšou vášňou. Aj preto som sa rozhodol uskutočniť tento projekt a posunúť ju na ďalšiu úroveň - spoznávať, ako vyzerá najkrajší deň v živote po celom svete...no dobre, v Južnej Amerike. :) A táto cesta bude najkrajšia, keď ju so mnou bude zdieľať Janka. :)]]

WEDDING TRAVELLER: JANKA

[[People say I am a very rational person. Recently I have finished my master's degree, but until then, I spent most of my free time with work and school. This might explain why my friends were quite surprised about our plan.

Ivan had this whole idea long before we met and when he first mentioned it, I said no way :). But as the years passed, I spent few months abroad, my priorities have changed and it started to make sense.  During the last three summers, I was his second shooter and learned a bit more about photography. I became obsessed with weddings and curious about traditions and customs in different countries.

Meeting Ivan has changed my life. He filled it with good food (he is a very good cook), music (he plays piano), laugher (he is my personal clown, he does fire shows and he even taught me to juggle!) and many unforgettable memories.///La gente dice que soy una persona muy racional. Hace poco que terminé mi máster, y  hasta ahora, había estado la mayor parte de mi tiempo libre en la universidad o en el trabajo. Esto, tal vez, explique por qué mis amigos se sorprendieron tanto con nuestro plan.

Iván tuvo esta  idea mucho antes de que nos conociéramos y cuando me la mencionó por primera vez le dije que ni hablar. Sin embargo, con el paso de los años, pasé unos cuantos meses en el extranjero, mis prioridades cambiaron y su idea empezó a tener sentido. Durante los tres últimos veranos, fui su asistente y aprendí un poco más sobre fotografía. Me he obsesionado con las bodas y me ha invadido la curiosidad por las tradiciones y costumbres en diferentes países.

Conocer a Iván ha cambiado mi vida. La ha completado con buena comida (es un excelente cocinero), con música (toca el piano), con risas (es mi payaso personal, hace espectáculos con fuego e incluso ¡me ha enseñado a hacer malabares!) y con muchos recuerdos inolvidables.///Vo všeobecnosti som veľmi racionálny človek. Väčšinu svojho času som trávila v škole alebo v práci a sústredila som sa na svoju budúcu kariéru. Takže sa veľmi nečudujem svojím priateľom, že boli prekvapení našim plánom.

Ivan tento projekt zvažoval už niekoľko rokov a keď sa o ňom prvýkrát zmienil, tak som ho jednoznačne odmietla :). Ako roky ubiehali, strávila som semester v zahraničí, moje priority sa mierne zmenili a zrazu to celé začalo dávať zmysel. Počas posledných troch sezón som Ivanovi vypomáhala ako druhý fotograf a postupne som sa dozvedala viac o fotografii. Začala som byť mierne posadnutá svadbami a veľmi ma zaujímali tradície a zvyky v ostatných krajinách.

Ivan zmenil môj život, naplnil ho dobrým jedlom (je veľmi dobrý kuchár), hudbou (hrá pekne na klavíri), smiechom (je mojím osobným klaunom, vie robiť ohňovú show a dokonca ma naučil žonglovať!) a mnohými nezabudnuteľnými spomienkami. :)]]
